CHUCKY

...and this little beauty goes to Nadine! It's always quite a challenge to make a small bike work fine with fat tires and fenders, without making any compromises in handling and usability. In order to avoid toe overlapping we were fighting for every little millimeter fitting those big 26"x2,3" Rene Herse Rat Trap Pass tires with Velo Orange Fenders into the frame and still keeping the handling of the bike agile and intuitive. In order to make that work, we used a shorter crankset, slackened a little bit the headangle, steepened the seatangle, put a bit more rake into the fork, shortened the stem, etc. As a result there is a small but very well proportioned CHUCK bike, which rides just as good as it's bigger bro's. Typical Fern like this bike comes completely analog with Gevenalle shifters on a 1x11 Shimano drivetrain and good old V-brake stopping power on carbide coated Ryde CSS rims. Lights and energy supply by SON, Schmidt's famous original hubdynamo. All racks are handmade by Fern and the awesome colourmatching bags and frame combo was created by Gramm Tourpacking and Velociao . Have a lot of fun with this awesome little Chuck Nadine!
